JFM Patient and Families:
We are constantly monitoring the current recommendations for the COVID-19 situation. Our top priority is certainly the health and safety of our patients, their families and our staff. Please be patient with us as we change some office procedures. Please also know these may change as the situation evolves.
We have worked to separate all of our medical equipment and rooms for well and sick patients. We have separate rooms for each. Please help us ensure everyone’s safety by following these new recommendations.
We recognize the importance of extreme caution to limit the exposure of any pathogens, especially COVID-19, to our patients and families. We also realize that patients need their physicians for all the other illnesses and questions that arise. We also recommend that if you have not done so please get your flu shot .
We are asking all patients to please notify us by phone while making your appointment if you have
been out of the country in the past 90 days.
If you are running a fever and have a severe cough.
If you have been in contact with anyone that has been exposed to COVID19.
We are offering Telehealth ( which has been recommended highly by insurance companies and officials) for those who don't feel comfortable coming into the office. Please ask our receptionist about this when you call and she will go over the procedure with you.
In addition, we have an amazing new software system that is helping us keep up with the high volume of incoming phone calls. Please download the Klara app on your iPhone or Android. This system is HIPPA certified and is able to text you and get alot of your needs taken care of promptly. We have hundreds of phone calls a day and we are striving to take every call. We have seen this has been an issue and are making great efforts to get this taken care of for you the patient and the JFM staff. Please be patient as we work out the kinks.
You may call the office for ANY questions. Our staff is available to any patient and family that has questions. Hopefully as a community, we will work together with our AMAZING patients and their families to get us all through this safely.
